About Us
The Droids
You've gone to Galaxy's Edge and built your very own droid at The Droid Depot, or you bought one of these cool remote controlled droids online. They are awesome, but most folks bring them home, put them on the shelf and let them collect dust... Not anymore!
The Team
Now you and your droid are a team. You're the pilot and the droid is the muscle. You get the remote, the droid gets the battle array. You find 4'x4' of flat empty space and send out the challenge to others
The Objective
Each droid is armed with a Weapon Array and a Target Array, know together as the Battle Array. The weapon Array has a flexible arm that is attached to the head of the droid and it ends in a foam striker.
The Target Array has 2 targets that are magnetically attached to the target plates.
During the battle, the pilot is trying to maneuver his droid so that they knock off both targets. You get 1 point for each one you knock off

The Battle consists of 3 one minute rounds, with one minute to attend to your droid between each round.
Before each round begins, either pilot can call for a measuring pass, where the droids will go to the center and the weapon arms can be adjusted to ensure that the striker is able to hit the target
The Arena
Any flat piece of ground that is at least 4'x4' can be used for the arena. If the arena is raised- like a table top, ensure the droids will be safe from falling off the edge.
If floor is being used, try to tape out the arena and designate one side or corner as red and the other blue.
The arena we have is 4'x8', which allows for maximum carnage!
The Rules
- You may only use the controller that comes with the droid. No apps may be used.
- You get 1 point for each target you knock off the opponent.
- The match ends when both targets are knocked off an opponent OR the 1 minute match is up, which ever comes first.
- There is no stopping the match. If the weapon array falls off or the arm gets misaligned, the match doesn't stop. That droid must continue to battle
- If the target array fall off a droid. The match is stopped and the opponent is awarded 2 points
- If a droid is knocked over, the match is stopped and the opponent is awarded 2 points.
- all 3 matches must be fought unless the droid is no longer able to continue and then they must forfeit the Battle to their opponent.
- No pilot may touch either droid during the match. Doing so forfeits the match to their opponent.
- No spectator may interfere with the pilots or droids during the match and doing so stops the match and the spectator should be removed from the battle site.
